Title: Free 2 1
Size: 30 x 48
Media: Acrylic, Linen, Metal (License Plate, earing), Organic materials (feather), Paper (Laotian money) on Canvas

Working in the same vein as my last piece (Hampshire), I decided to work in a limited color palette with select found materials to do a large piece on canvas. I’m feeling decent with the results.  Back home in Texas, my parents raise a few chickens, ducks, and pigeons. The most interesting is perhaps the Guinea Hen.  The Work is intended as a gift to my parents to use in a room in the house that overlooks the chicken coup. To make it a bit more personal, I decided to integrate a guinea feather I saved from home in the work.

And let me know what you think and, as always, enjoy!
