On theory

The making of art is as much about application as it is about thought. Behind every piece I make, I truly aim to think through the piece and reach a sort of private philosophical place.  A great wise and very deep friend of mine (See  her blog here) shared a wonderful treatise concerned with the philosophy of making art and aesthetics. I don’t completely agree with all of it but I think it’s definitely something to think about. It’s a pretty dense work so anyone NOT interested in philosophy or aesthetics  do stay away. You will just be bored.I wanted to share it in any case to those who might be listening.
